I thought I would try to explain this... 1: I drew this one over a year ago, hence a little bit different art style. 2: it's Simon completely aghast at what he's hearing, and opposed to his normal (?) attitude, is trying NOT to be his normal self 3: I have never watched American Idol. Sorry if that ruins the joke for you (other than reading these explanations) 4: .. that is a cardboard cutout of Paula Abdul.
...5: it's also completely BACKWARDS at what you would expect at a church, expecting to hear broken notes out of the audience, not the stage from the musicians.
